What is the different between White Gift and White Premium Gift Moses Baskets?
The difference is the fabrics used for the dressings.
While both designs use understated, tonal textures to give a sophisticated feel, the Premium Gift moses basket uses sumptuous devoré velours, soft baby cords and plain cottons which are blissfully cosy against baby’s skin and White Gift has a slightly more contemporary feel with honeycomb cotton waffles and piqué cords (a subtle ribbed cotton) for a smarter look.
Both baskets are made and tested to British Standard BS EN1466:2004 + A1:2007 so will keep baby safe and secure as they sleep, so it’s simply a case of which look and feel you prefer, the velvety softness of Premium or the crisp 100% cottons of White Gift .
What is included in this moses basket?
Our luxury wicker moses basket includes a sturdy wicker basket, a comfortable padded basket liner, a fabric basket liner, an adjustable hood, a generous sized basket coverlet and a foam mattress with a hygienic, wipe cleanable PEVA mattress.
Please note accessories are not included.
What size is the coverlet?
Our coverlet is more generous than many on the market, is it approx 55 x 70cm, so big enough to tuck in.
Can the hood and lining be bought separately?
While its not possible to buy the individual elements, we do sell the moses basket dressings as a set. The dressing set includes the padded liner, the fabric liner, the hood canopy and the coverlet, perfect if you wish to change the look or have a spare for washing.
My hood will not stay up?
Sorry you've had problems with your hood, its simply a case of tightening the wing nut fixings which attach the hood to the basket. Also make sure that the hood elastic fixings are wrapped around the wing nut too, as this helps to create the tension and so keeps the hood in place.
What size fitted sheets are needed for this moses basket?
Our moses basket fitted sheets will fit our baskets, the mattress is sized 28 x 65cm approx. and generally speaking most fitted moses basket sheets will fit our baskets.
How long can I use my moses basket for?
Moses baskets create a cosy, cocooning first bed for baby when they first enter the world. They are appropriate for use from birth and are only suitable for a child who cannot sit up unaided, roll over and cannot push his or herself up on their hands and knees. Maximum weight of child 9kg.
